Its time for assessment before going for voting
Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture

Meenakshi Lekhi, Union Minister of State for External Affairs, said that this was time to asses what Telangana gained in the last 10 year and what it gained. She opined that Telangana had lost more than it had gained.

“Elections is the time we have to assess ourselves and what we have gained and lost in the last 10 years. It has lost more. Surplus state fell debt trap. Majority of schemes launched here are with scamming than planning. The Government is incapable of proper planning and implementation.

Here the government has been appeasing one section and discriminating other sections. Four per cent reservations for Muslims is nothing but appeasing and against constitution,” said Meenakshi while speaking to reporters here on Friday, who came here to participate in election campaign.

The Minister said that they would have one minister exclusively in the Cabinet after BJP coming to power to handle and coordinate with Centre in dealing with the issues being faced NRIs.

She has accused Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and MIM president Asaduddin Owisi of divisive politics.

Asked about Palestine and Hamas war, she said: “We accept the two nation theory oy of Palestine. At the same time was not acceptable what happened on what happened on October 7th.
