To help the victims of the train accident in Balasore, Odisha, the volunteers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are helping the administration in service and relief work. After getting the information about the accident, the volunteers reached the accident site in 30 to 35 minutes.
The volunteers are taking out the injured and dead bodies from the train and sending them by ambulance, donating blood, helping the relatives of the injured in the hospital, providing food and water and other help.
About 250 volunteers are engaged in service work at various places, till 3 am about 400 volunteers had donated blood.
