BRS senior leader Dr Dasoju Sravan lambasted Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shiva Kumar for trying to mislead and hoodwink Telangana people with blatant lies and false promises. Commenting on DK Shiva Kumar’s speech at public meeting in Tandur, Dr Dasoju Sravan mocked Karnataka Deputy CM, for poking nose in Telanagana elections, when Congress Government in Karnataka itself is failing miserably.
“Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shiva Kumar, who is among the most corrupt politicians in India, is campaigning for Congress in Telangana. It is ridiculous that when Congress Government in Karnataka has not implemented at least one election guarantee completely, Deputy CM of Karnataka is giving assurances to Telangana people about the six guarantees implementation, if Congress is voted to power. A repeated habitual offender and financial criminal DK Shiva Kumar is trying to fool Telangana people in broad day light” fired Dr Dasoju Sravan urging DK Shiva Kumar to first focus on setting his own state Karnataka right.
“CM KCR has transformed drought-hit Telangana into one of the prosperous states in India. He has deftly balanced development and welfare. As a result Telangana budget grew from Rs 60,000 Cr in 2014 to Rs 3 lakh Cr in 2023 and people belonging to all sections are living happily under KCR’s rule. While per-capita income in Telangana is Rs 3.18 lakh, it is lesser in Karantaka at Rs 3 lakh. Either in implementing welfare schemes like Shaadi Mubarak, Kalyanalakshmi, Dalit Bandhu, or development initiatives like TS-iPASS, T-Hub, T Works, Kaleshwaram Project, Telangana is way ahead of Karnataka. But DK Shiva Kumar is shamelessly spreading lies,” stressed Dr Dasoju Sravan, challenging Karnataka Deputy CM to travel in Telangana to experience the Telangana model of wholesome development under CM KCR’s rule.

Terming Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shiva Kumar and TPCC president Revanth Reddy as twin thieves Dr Dasoju Sravan, urged Telangana people to be aware of Congress party’s cheating tactics.

“While pension of more than Rs 2016 is being given to old aged, widows physically challenged and other sections in Telangana, Karnataka Government is struggling to pay even Rs 1000. While KCR is giving 24×7 free power to agriculture, Karnataka is giving less than 5 hours. CM KCR has transformed the lives of farmers with Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema, farm loan waiver but these schemes are non existent in Karnataka. While Congress and BJP Governments have turned Bengaluru from ‘City of Gardens’ to ‘City of Garbage’, BRS Government-led by CM KCR has turned Hyderabad into world class city. But ignoring all these glaring truths, DK Shiva Kumar made efforts to belittle KCR’s governance,” said Dr Dasoju Sravan launching a tirade on DK Shiva Kumar.

“The area under cultivation has increased from 1.30 lakh acres in 2014 to 2.20 lakh acres in 2023 in Telangana. Paddy production increased from 68,000 Cr tonnes in 2014 to 3 lakh Cr tonnes in 2023. Telangana is also completely ODF free state, while Karnataka lags behind. While Telangana was awared the first rank in supplying clean drinking water in the country by Union Govt, Karnataka stood at 20th place. While IT exports in Telangana were about Rs 56,000 Cr when KCR became CM, IT exports rose to Rs 2.80 lakh Cr today. In the Panchayath Awards given by Union Govt, while Telanagana bagged 8 Awards, Karnataka did not even get one,” said Dr Dasoju Sravan stressing DK Shiva Kumar should first set his house right.
