Though present Budget 2024 – 25 is interim, it has given direction towards the “ Vikasita Sankalp Bharat “ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Capital Expenditure allocated for Rs. 11.10 Lack Crore as the allocations out of 47.66 lack crores of the total Budget out lay along with the 1.30 lack crores 50 years interest free loans to State Governments on their capital expenditure.
Housing for poor under PMAY Rural has completed for 3 Crore houses so far and targeted to compete the further 2 Crore houses in the year. Apart from this Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana extension for 80 Crore BPL families, PM Svanidhi Loans for the 78 lack street vendors up to Rs. 2.30 Lack Crores and Mudra Loans for 45 Lack people and 83 Lakhs Self Help Groups of the 9 Crore women have been transformed with empowerment of self reliant as 1 crore women became Lakhpathi Didi and targeted to get it up to 3 Crores in the coming days.
Growth in the both direct and indirect taxes collections are positive with in the expected target of the fiscal deficit. In general GDP is the key for evolution of economy performance of the nation, Nominal GDP has forecasted at 10.50% though global recession is going to on and Finance Minister termed the GDP as Governance, Development and Performance.
This Budget is Gatshakti and Anthoydaya with fiscal prudence.
