Naidu lauds NTR Trust’s 25 years of service

Lokesh hails trust for carrying forward NTR legacy
Trust services in natural calamities invaluable
Gave Rs. 48L to bereaved families in recent floods

AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday lauded NTR Memorial Trust on completion of 25 years of its selfless services to the people.

Naidu expressed happiness over the trust’s long journey in carrying forward NTR’s motto of public service. He extended his greetings to the staff and volunteers of NTR Trust on this important occasion.

In a statement here, the TDP chief recalled how the trust has been extending services in times of natural calamities in addition to healthcare, education, empowerment and employment generation. In the recent flood havoc, NTR Trust had provided Rs 48 Lakh financial assistance at the rate of Rs. 1 Lakh for each of the 48 families who lost their loved ones.

Naidu said that till now, the trust has come to the rescue of over 20 lakh people who were affected in natural calamities. The trust services through blood donation centres and oxygen plants were laudable.Chandrababu Naidu said that NTR Trust should further expand its services. He lauded the efforts being made by trust Managing Trustee Nara Bhuvaneswari, employees and staff.

In a separate statement, TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh praised NTR Trust for adhering to NTR’s ideal of standing by the side of people despite hurdles and problems. For the past 25 years, the trust has been rendering relentless services to the Telugu people.

Lokesh said that the trust has expanded its services to the nook and corner of the State. Its services to the needy people in times of natural calamities were invaluable. Lakhs of people availed of NTR Trust services in education, health, employment and livelihood areas.

Nara Lokesh extended his greetings to the trustees, management, volunteers and donors on the occasion of NTR Trust’s silver jubilee celebrations. The trust should carry forward the service legacy and celebrate its centenary with the same spirit.
