The CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with his wife Nandini Vikramarka and son Surya Vikramaditya cast his vote at Mandala Praja Parishad school at Sundaraiah Nagar in the town.
After emerging out of the polling station, he told reporters that people across the state were voting for Congress with a desire to have change of the government. He appealed to people to exercise their franchise in a big way to promote the spirit of democracy.
Vikramarka reiterated that Congress brought in the Six Guarantees with an intention to distribute the public fortune to people which is their legitimate right. All these ten years under the rule of BRS formerly TRS farming community had undergone an untold suffering with the absence of input subsidies, MSP, compensation for crop loss and loan waiver, he added.
He said the total wealth got concentrated in a few hands. After Congress voted to power it would implement all the promises it made including six guarantees, said Bhatti.
