The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president and former chief minister, Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday that the destruction at Gannavaram is perfectly pre-planned and whoever is behind it will have to face the consequences.
Mr Chandrababu Naidu on Friday visited Gannavaram TDP office and also the vehicles that were damaged by YSRCP goondas. He also visited the family members of Mr Donthu Chinna, the TDP activist who was attacked by these goondas. The local party activists briefed Mr Chandrababu on the incidents.
Later, talking to media persons Mr Chandrababu Naidu dared those who are behind the destruction to fix a date and time for any attack anywhere in the State.
”Now you have resorted to this destruction with the cooperation of the police. If you are dare enough fix a date and time and I am ready to face any such kind of havoc that you can create,” Mr Chandrababu said.
The former chief minister said that the police acted like thieves in the Gannavaram incident. “When the Advocate on-duty visited the spot to meet the affected leaders even cases were booked against him,” Mr Chandrababu remarked.
It is ultimately the police officials who have to face the consequences whoever instigates them now to commit this kind of incidents, Mr Chandrababu observed. ”Our’s is not a political party that is scared of this kind of empty threats,” he noted.
Strongly condemning the attack on the residence of Mr Donthu Chinna, he said that a large police force was deployed at the Gannavaram airport on learning about his arrival here. ”Is Gannavaram in Pakistan,” he asked.
Had the police acted ontime soon after the TDP lodged the complaint, this incident would not have happened, he felt and asked how the provisions of the SC,ST Atrocities Act are invoked when the local inspector belongs to BC community. Even the family members of the local police officials are not supporting their action, he felt.
Mr Chandrababu Naidu is of the opinion that if anyone feels that it is an attack only on the TDP office, tomorrow it may be on one’s personal property too. He told the party leaders that the days of this psycho rule are numbered and good days are ahead.
Assuring the TDP activists of his full support to instill confidence in them, he said he is available for them at any point of time. Mr Chandrababu Naidu called upon the people of the State to save Andhra Pradesh from this psycho Chief Minister.
The whole State is aware of what has happened at Gannavaram, Mr Chandrababu said adding that even the most notorious terrorists will not cause such damage. People are feeling ashamed of the police inefficiency, Mr Chandrababu Naidu added.
