Good response to Jagananna Suraksha

Amaravati, July 1: Jagananna Suraksha has become a major success with people thronging to village and ward secretariats across the State to resolve their issues and get the required services.

In the 1305 villages, 4, 42, 840 requests were registered of which 3,69,373 were cleared.

On the first day, 14,28,481 families were covered by 22,728 volunteers. Students, forming majority of the complainants, received caste and revenue certificates mostly to facilitate admissions in educational institutions.

Government employees, volunteers, Gruhasaradhulu, people’s representatives and enthusiasts interacted with the complainants on a massive scale and issued tokens after registering their complainants.

Officials arranged separate desks like registration desk, reception desk, verification desk, Jaganannaku Chebudam desk and Aadhar desk in the camps conducted in two secretariats in each Mandal across the State on the first day and all arrangements were made including broadband facilities to extend the services fairly and quickly. At some places, medical camps also were conducted.

Next to revenue and caste certificates, many others sought birth and death certificates besides other civic services and expressed happiness over the camps. These certificates would be helpful in getting eligibility for enrolment into welfare programmes.

People, who have eligibility but were left over due to various reasons previously, are now being enrolled into welfare programmes.

Tenant farmers
With the Kharif season commencing, tenant farmers also thronged the Jagananna Suraksha camps in great numbers and most of them received CCRD cards after applying for the same through available applications at the Secretariats.

Some of the complaints related to the linking of Aadhar cards with the phone numbers while there were also applications for mutations. These are being solved immediately at some places.

The most notable point is while there were only one or two Government employees to attend to people’s issues for every two to three villages during the TDP rule, 10 to 11 employees are now available in every secretariat.

The camps will continue for one month in 15,004 village and ward secretariats.
