Andhra Pradesh Governor and President of Indian Red Cross Society, Andhra Pradesh State Branch Biswabhusan Harichandan presented the President of India’s Gold medal and Certificate of Appreciation of Indian Red Cross Society to Sri P. Jaganmohna Rao, Chairman, IRCS, Srikakulam District Branch, at a function held in Durbar Hall in Raj Bhavan on Friday.
Sri P. Jaganmohna Rao, Chairman, IRCS, Srikakulam District Branch has been selected by the Indian Red Cross Society, for award of the President’s Gold Medal and Certificate in its Annual General Meeting held on May 17, in New Delhi, for rendering services for the humanitarian cause of the Red Cross for more than 15 years.
Governor Sri Harichandan also presented the President of India’s award to Dr. A. Sridhar Reddy, Chairman and Sri A.K. Parida, Secretary & CEO of Indian Red Cross Society, Andhra Pradesh State Branch, for winning the second prize at National-level, for maximum enrolment of members in the Red Cross Society. Sri R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor and other officers of Raj Bhavan were also present on the occasion.
