Amaravati, Nov 8: Representatives of journalist unions and senior journalists called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Camp Office here on Wednesday and thanked him for the Government’s decision to allot house sites for journalists.
Recalling that the former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy allotted house sites to journalists in the undivided Andhra Pradesh, they told the Chief Minister all journalists who got house sites then are happy now.
They told him that journalists are getting house sites after two decades and they are happy on the decision. to allot house sites for all eligible journalists across the State.
They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister who todd them that the Government has fulfilled its election promise and implemented 99.5 per cent of promises made to the people.
The Chief Minister directed officials to expedite land identification for allotting house sites for journalists and work on the issue as per a special action plan and update him on the issue.
