Lokesh call to stop ‘Ravana Kashtam’ in AP

Prevent Sri Lanka-like crisis and chaos
AP should witness Ayodhya like glory
People should fight destructive forces
Extends Ramanavami greetings

AMARAVATI: TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh on Sunday called upon the people of Andhra Pradesh to strive to prevent their State from becoming a centre of all round destruction like Sri Lanka.

Lokesh asserted that the AP State should be rescued from the disruptive and anarchic forces so as to develop it into a glorious place like Ayodhya.

In a statement here, the TDP MLC extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of Sri Ramanavami celebrations all over. He pointed out that ancient Lanka was a clear example of how a ruler’s reckless arrogance would burn and destroy the whole people in his State.

Nara Lokesh stressed the need for the AP people to fight against the chaotic forces with the sole objective of establishing ‘Rama Rajyam’ in the State once again. All sections of people were badly hit and facing a struggle for existence under the present regime.

Lokesh said the whole world had seen in the epic how a State would become an ever-burning ‘Ravana Kashtam’ when its rulers had no foresight. It was high time to prevent a Lanka-like situation in AP so that its people would regain peace, prosperity and development.

The TDP MLC deplored that the present rulers in AP were pursuing policies without showing any foresight. Multiple crisis situations had arisen because of the State negligence towards health, education and employment creation. While development took a back seat, the lawless elements and destructive forces had taken control of the overall situation.

Lokesh solely blamed the rulers for the migration of youth and workers to other States due to closure of even existing opportunities in AP in the past three years. Even now, the Government was not coming forward to create some hope and confidence among the people. The State would slip into an irretrievable crisis if the rulers would not change their policies towards the Capital, irrigation projects, power sector, industries, investments, construction, price control and so on.
