Lokesh says Amaravati remained ‘resilient’ despite YCP attacks

-CM should restart single Capital as growth engine
-800 days of Amaravati stir laudable

AMARAVATI: TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Thursday praised the Amaravati protesters for standing up against the dictatorial policies of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Lokesh said the YCP rulers had conspired to destroy Amaravati Capital project but in the process they ruined all sectors of development and welfare in the State.

In a statement here, Lokesh said that Amaravati remained ‘resilient’ despite the ulterior and destructive plans of Jagan Mohan Reddy. It emerged stronger and withstood all the narrow-minded and heinous plans of CM Jagan and his party leaders.

Nara Lokesh asserted that the 800-day-old Amaravati stir proved that all the allegations levelled by the ruling YSRCP leaders were wrong and ill-motivated. The agitators showed their ample determination for continuing their protests till the Government would announce and develop Amaravati as the sole Capital of AP.

Nara Lokesh told the Chief Minister that the only way to develop and bring prosperity to the whole State was by restarting the Amaravati project as a growth engine. The Government should go forward with a positive mindset without continuing its retrogressive policies. The stalled multi-crore works should be restarted for the benefit of all sections of AP people.
