TPCC president Revanth Reddy demanded that the payment disbursals of welfare schemes like BC Bandhu, Grulahakshmi and Rythu Bandhu implemented by the Telangana government should be released by November 2. Revanth Reddy commented that this is a specific demand made by the Congress party. If KCR postpones the payments, he assured that the Congress will pay once it comes to power. One will get Rs 10,000 from Rythu Bandhu if taken now whereas Congress has promised to give Rs 15,000 when it comes to power. He said that the Congress will give pension of Rs 4000 on coming to power while the pension disbursed now is only Rs 2000
Revanth Reddy spoke to the media along with Congress party leaders Uttam Kumar Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka and Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy at the AICC office in Delhi on Thursday. He said that they asked the EC to take steps to complete the transfer of money before the notification of the elections. But the BRS is spreading false propaganda against Congress that we are complaining to stop the welfare schemes
KCR is trying to stop payments by portraying the Congress party as a demon. Revanth Reddy said that they are not saying to stop the welfare schemes but the Congress party is demanding that the beneficiaries of various schemes should be paid before November 2. He commented that no one can save BRS from defeat even if they spread false propaganda against Congress. Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that the people of Telangana are not ready to fall under the spell of KCR again.
Revanth Reddy stated that they complained to the EC to transfer the officials who were working like BRS party workers. He said that retired officers are are given posts and are being used to attack the opposition and we have asked the EC to remove such people from the posts.
He asked not to entrust the election duties to the officials who are supporting BRS. It has been requested to appoint officers who act impartially. He criticized that they are using it like a private army to trouble the opposition by giving posts to retired officers.
He said that these officials are working like Razakars under KCR like Razakars under Nizam. Such retired officers have been requested to be removed from duty immediately. Anjani Kumar and Stephen Ravindra should be transferred. Some IAS officers have been handling key departments for 7-8 years. Jayesh Ranjan, Arvind Kumar and Somesh Kumar are managing key departments. Revanth Reddy alleged that BRS leaders are putting pressure on the businessmen to give election funds to BRS.
Revanth Reddy fumed that the government is trying to escape by bringing to the fore the conspiracy element to the collapse of the pillars of the Medigadda project. Why did the Medigadda project sink into the ground? He said there are coal deposits under the project. He said that there is a lack of quality in the construction of the project and that precautions like soil test were not followed. He accused that the Medigadda project was constructed like a castle in the air. They are portraying it as a sabotage by maoists and anti-social forces.
Revanth Reddy questioned what is the relationship between KCR and ENC Muralidhar Rao, when Muralidhar Rao has retired 12 years ago. He criticized that such officers were hired to rob. He asked why action was not taken against the L&T company if such a disaster had happened and why they were not put in the black list. It is very clear thar there is poor quality when the dam is collapsing due to loss of sand.
He said that the real matter will not come out unless criminal cases are filed and investigated. Why the dam safety officials from the center are not disclosing the report even after inspection. What is the agreement between the Center and the BRS? He said that the Center is trying to save BRS. Revanth Reddy criticized that because protection money has been paid to the Centre, action is not being taken against the mistakes of the state government.
Revanth Reddy slammed that it is not Medigadda but it is the KCR government that sank. He complained that Harish Rao and KTR are like Billa Ranga, KCR is like Charles Sobharaj. They are attacking the Congress without revealing what they have done. Revanth Reddy accused ED, IT and CBI of being frontal organizations of BJP.
Revanth Reddy challenged KCR to contest from Kodangal if he has developed Mahabubnagar. He invited KCR to contest in Kodangal. Revanth Reddy said that he is ready to contest from Kamareddy if KCR does not come to contest in Kodangal. He cleared that if the party instructs, either Bhatti Vikramarka or he himself are ready to contest against KCR in Kamareddy and against KTR in Sircilla. He said that we are ready to defeat KCR and KTR.
Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that people never gave chance to hung assembly in united AP and that hung never arose in Telangana too.Congress party will come to power in Telangana with 2/3 majority. He concluded that there is no way of going with MIM. BRS, BJP and MIM, these three parties are like Cheddi gang. BJP and BRS will contest the parliamentary elections together. He said that seat negotiations have already been done between them. He expressed confidence that the Congress government will be formed in Telangana on December 9.
Revanth Reddy said that it is a process to complain to the election officials. Our further action will depend on the actions taken by the authorities. He said that KCR, Harish and KTR will not answer people’s questions. Telangana has a BJP government. That is why there will be no attacks there. He said that ED and CB will go first to states where elections are held.
The leaders who left the Congress did not leave by believing in the principles of the BJP but by believing that the ruling party at the center will take action against KCR. He said that they are coming back believing that it is not possible there. Raj Gopal Reddy, DK Aruna, Vijayashanthi and Vishveshwar Reddy have made it clear that they did not join BJP by having belief in their principles. He said that the party will give appropriate priority to those who join the Congress. Revanth Reddy made a sattire that it would be better if BJP make alliances with KA Paul along with Janasena.
