The State Bank Staff College, Hyderabad, celebrated its Diamond Jubilee, in a
commemorative function, held at their premises at Begumpet, Hyderabad. The function was attended by Mr. Dinesh Khara, Chairman, State Bank of India, Mr. Om Prakash Mishra, Dy.

Managing Director (Inspection & Audit), Ms. Lakshmi R Srinivas, Chief General Manager & Head of the Strategic Training Unit, SBI, Chief General Managers of Circles, Mr Ravikumar VR Majumdar, General Manager & Director, Staff College and other dignitaries.
Established on 2 nd December 1961, State Bank Staff College, Hyderabad is a pioneer
institution in India for training officers in the field of Banking & Finance.
For the past six decades, Staff College has trained generations of bankers not only within State Bank of India, but also from other banks in India and abroad. The institute also conducts training programmes for educational institutions and Government officials. State Bank Staff College is an ISO 9000:2015 rated institution and has also been bestowed with the Platinum rating by the Indian Green Building Council. Most of the Top Management of the State Bank of India, over the years, received their initial grooming at State Bank Staff College. In SBI,Staff College is perceived with the same reverence as the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, by the Indian Administrative Services.
The celebrations included the unveiling of a plaque marking the occasion, tree plantation,
donation of a bus to “Lakshya Sadhana” (Society for people with intellectual and
developmental disability (IDD)), Hyderabad, and launch of other green initiatives at the
campusbyMr. Dinesh Khara, Chairman SBI. Renowned International Trainer, Facilitator and
TEDx Speaker, Mr Prakash Rohera, delivered a power talk on the occasion. Speaking on
the occasion, the Chairman and other officials shared how the event evoked memories of
the happy days they spent at the Institute, learning in a beautiful green campus. “It was like a visit back to our Alma Mater”, they said.
