Amaravati: MLA Ambati Rambabu said the true colours of TDP were exposed after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee spilled beans on Pegasus software and demanded Central and State Governments to probe into the matter.
Mamata Banerjee categorically stated that Chandrababu Government was in possession of the software, he told media.She revealed in the Assembly that the Andhra government had Pegasus software during Naidu’s regime and added that she was neither friend to YSRCP nor enemy to Naidu and infact they both were together as Grand Alliance in 2019 elections.
The MLA said though YSRCP didn’t make any allegations on TDP with regard to Pegasus software, TDP was scared and is reacting aggressively raising doubts on them. He said Naidu should condemn the statement the.Mamata Banerjee and file defamation suit against her.
The MLA expressed doubt that Naidu might have bought spyware software through private entities rather than government institutions and reminded that Naidu always indulged in unethical politics managing the institutions. He said YSRCP had already informed that TDP was tapping phones in the previous government and the proof to it is being revealed at present.
