Amaravathi, Nov 28: The senior TDP leader and former MLC, Mr Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao, on Monday termed the Chief Minister, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, as a coward who always moves behind the curtains.
Mr Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao told media persons here that the ruling party leaders, including Mr Jagan, who are supposed to uphold the systems are protecting criminals and are coming to the defence of those who always indulge in criminal activities. The former MLC stated that the people no longer will tolerate such an attitude of the ruling party leaders and will teach them a lesson soon.
The YSRCP leaders have completely vandalised Andhra Pradesh by robbing the State’s natural resources like sand and minerals, he said adding that several people lost their lives due to consumption of spurious liquor manufactured in the companies owned by the ruling party leaders. Who will take responsibility for such inhuman activities, he asked.
Maintaining that the State is now pushed into a deep financial crisis as Rs 8.5 lakh cr loans are now to be repaid, Mr Yarapathineni said that of this Rs 8.5 lakh cr, accounts for 2 lakh cr are missing. There is no welfare programme in the State and not even a single section is happy with the policies of Mr Jagan, the TDP leader said.
Mr Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao said that if the YSRCP leaders think that if they criticise the top most TDP leaders like, Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Mr Lokesh, the lower leaders will feel threatened and will remain silent, they are totally mistaken. The ruling party leaders should remember that they can not even touch even the lower rung TDP leaders, leave alone top leaders, he said and observed that the YSRCP leaders are aware of the people’s anger at them.
He believes that the YSRCP will no longer be in politics as these are the last elections for them and they will be chased out of the State very soon. The ruling party leaders know pretty well that if the TDP and the Jana Sena join hands the YSRCP candidates will not get back even their deposits, Mr Yarapathineni said and added that the people are ready to teach a lesson to the YSRCP.
The former MLC said that Mr Chandrababu is a leader with ethical and moral values unlike the YSRCP leaders. The ruling party leaders are plunged in deep racketeering and Mr Jagan forcing the Paytm batch to read out the scripts prepared by him, he added.
