Naidu: Wealth creation needed to provide jobs

All sections suffering under Jagan ‘misrule’
TDP gave fillip to IT to create more jobs
Jagan Capital policy drove away industries and jobs
AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday asserted that job creation could be taken forward like a movement only when efforts would be made for large scale wealth creation in the State.
Mr. Naidu said that ever since the YSRCP came to power in Andhra Pradesh, all sections of society including unemployed youth, farmers and women were feeling unsafe and insecure about their prospects. The educated youth were not getting jobs. The poorer sections were not finding work opportunities. Attacks and atrocities were rising on women and girls.
Addressing a meeting held with leaders of AP Udyoga Porata Samithi here, the TDP chief said that he had worked for a long time as a Chief Minister and as an Opposition leader. In his long career, he had never seen a leader who had behaved so irresponsibly like Mr. Jagan Reddy. The happenings in the State were causing deep pain and suffering. The TDP regime always stood by the side of unemployed youth by taking all steps for creating jobs.
Mr. Naidu said that during his first stint as the Chief Minister, he has filled 50,000 jobs all at one time. The DSC recruitment of Government teachers was taken up every year without fail. Industries should come for everyone in the State to get employment. For this, the TDP rule gave fillip to the IT companies which generated huge employment potential in the State at that time. The AP youth were successfully doing jobs in different countries in the world.
The TDP chief termed the job calendar released by the Jagan Reddy regime as ‘fake’. The YSRCP Government was boasting of having created lakhs of jobs. Whereas, the educated youth were going to Hyderabnba, Chennai and other metros in search of jobs. They were finding jobs in all sectors of economy in those cities. Mr. Jagan Reddy halted the Capital construction thereby driving away lots of industries. Thousands of jobs were lost as a result of this.
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said that the TDP regime signed agreements for Rs. 16 lakh crore of investments that had the potential to create 30 lakh jobs. All those investments had gone because of the policies of the Jagan rule. The unemployment rate had gone up from 3.6 percent to 16 percent in just two and half years of the YSRCP rule. The TDP would wage a relentless struggle for jobs to the youth.
