-Students thank TDP chief for timely help
-TDP NRI wing and MPs coordinated safe return
AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday held a meeting with the Telugu students who arrived safely back home from the war-torn Ukraine.
The students thanked the TDP chief for his and his party for extending timely and crucial help in evacuating them from the battle-hit country. It was with the help of TDP NRI wing that they could safely reach the Ukraine border from where they could board special flights to safely reach home.
Reassuring the students, Chandrababu Naidu said their party was always there to rush immediate help to the Telugu people whenever they would be hit by any calamity or
trouble. Whether in ruling or in opposition, the TDP would never hesitate to play a pivotal role in rescuing the Telugu people stuck in dangerous conditions.
Naidu said that he would request the Central Government to arrange for medical admissions to all those students who were forced to drop their studies and return from Ukraine in view of the war. It was laudable that the TDP MPs and the NRI wing had made impressive efforts for the safe return of the Telugu students.
The students narrated their difficulties during the time when they were stranded inside basements and hideouts in Ukraine. The parents of students also took part in the meeting and they narrated their problems because of cancellation of Videsi Vidya benefits. They sent their children to study in that country following support under the scheme.
MPs Kesineni Nani, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, Rammohan Naidu, NRI TDP president Rajasekhar, Pattabhi Ram, Tejaswi and others were present.
