Vijayawada, October 7: Andhra Pradesh Governor Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan congratulated eight-year-old Master Gandham Bhuvan Jai, who scaled Mount Elbrus and presented him a memento at a programme held at Raj Bhavan on Thursday. Governor Sri Harichandan said he was happy to know that Master Bhuvan Jai is also one of the youngest to summit the 5,642 meters (18,510 ft) Mt. Elbrus, which is the highest peak in Europe.
Son of Sri Gandham Chandrudu, Special Secretary, Minorities Welfare, Master Bhuvan Jai explained to the Governor about the challenges he faced in scaling Mt. Elbrus and credited his success to his trainers and the encouragement given by his parents. Governor Sri Harichandan wished Master Bhuvan Jai many more successes in the future and said he made his parents and the people of Andhra Pradesh proud of his achievement. Sri R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor, Sri Gandham Chandrudu, father of Bhuvan Jai, were also present on the occasion.
