Claims free power to farm sector is patent of Congress
Mudigonda, (Khammam Dt), Nov 21: Senior Congress leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka who is seeking election for the fourth time from Madhira constituency has pooh-poohed the BRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s comments that there were starvation deaths in the Indiramma rajyam and added Indiramma rajyam meant welfare and development. KCR lacked common sense, and hence made such comments, he said.
Addressing the street corner meetings at several villages in Mudigonda mandal, on Tuesday, he said that in the Indiramma government every eligible person got work and food. With the “Gareebi Hatao” slogan the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi nationalised the banks ensuring loans to the poor and downtrodden and houses to all, he claimed.
Bhatti said that Smt Gandhi brought about Land Ceiling Act and distributed lands to the landless implementing land reforms. She ended feudal culture and liberated the poor from the indenture system, he said.
Stating that Congress meant free current to farm sector and it has patent right on it, he alleged that in KCR’s government not even a single new power plant was built. He (KCR) was able to provide power as there was excess power in the market owing to the increase in plant installation capacities done by Congress in it’s rule, he said.
Coming down heavily on KCR’s false claims on power supply and irrigation projects, he said that in the 10 year BRS regime not even a drop of additional water was given to fields. The BRS rulers played with the precious lives of the educated unemployed youth with their series of bunglings in the conduct of Group examinations, he said.
Six Guarantees In 100 Days
Bhatti Vikramarka vehemently criticised KCR for his remarks on six guarantees and said that the Congress party made those promises with an aim to distribute public wealth to public.
“Our party aimed at seeing every family is living in it’s own house. It wants to drive away the scourge of shelterlessness”, he said.
People offered him a warm welcome in every village. CPI, TDP and YSRTP cadres and KCR elder brother’s daughter and Congress leader Ramya Rao participated.

“People are well aware of stone and gem. As I am gem people of Madhira gave me victory for three times. Mistakenly understood KCR as a gem people have borne him for ten years. Realising his image now they got ready to bash him into pulp”, said Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
Addressing a news conference, at Banapuram in Mudigonda mandal, on Tuesday, he said “let hundred KCRs come they cannot stop women’s support to me” and cannot buy people of Madhira”.
People have already decided to choose a person who is going to set a direction and stage to the state. “You, your son or son-in-law together come you cannot defeat me. People will repulse your plots”, he added.
He wanted to know from KCR and BRS leaders why they were criss-crossing the state when they were confident of Congress getting limited to 20 seats.
KCR’s statement that Congress was going to be defeated is ridiculous. As KCR was not confident of his victory in Gajwel he fled to Kamareddy, he remarked.
“Congress is going to secure more than 75 seats and our party high command will decide the chief minister. Chief minister KCR granted Dalit Bandhu to Madhira as he is scared of me. He viewed Dalit Bandhu from the angle of votes”, said Bhatti.
He went on to say that he didn’t loot Madhira instead developed the constituency.
Sonia Gandhi ensured allotment of four percent more current to Telangana at the time of bifurcation of combined state of Andhra Pradesh, he said and expressed the hope that he was going to retain Madhira with 40 to 50 thousand majority.
