Hyderabad, May 2 :: Launching a scathing on BRS government , Telangana state BJP official spokesperson N V Subhash alleged that KCR government has failed to provide security and safety to common man during recent rains which claimed two lives of children in the city recently.
A girl identified as Maunika fell into a manhole in Kalasiguda while a six year old by died in Jubilee hills due to heavy rains in the city, he said and questioned is it a “ Telangana model” taking lives of innocent children.
Chief Minister KCR always make fake promises to the people. Ruling BRS party wanted to implement what kind of “ Telangana model”in other states when it is unable to take effective measures to save lives of people in Hyderabad city which is more than 400 years old and most of its leaders are living in the city for decades.
Subhash alleged that due to negligence of KCR government many people died due to wall collapse and falling into manholes and stray dog incidents.
Demanding resignation of Municipal minister K T Rama Rao taking moral responsibility for the inept handling of the situation including stray dogs incidents reported in the city, Subhash alleged that KCR government has utterly failed to save the lives of kids when stray dogs attacked them on the roads and it showed crocodile tears to pacify the agitated parents.
The BJP leader asked what happened of promise made by KCR government to make Hyderabad city on par with Dallas and Istanbul. Taking a dig on BRS government , he said the owes of people particularly those living in low lying areas are unimaginable and indescribable if the city experienced even scant rains. Two wheelers and cars are being washed away in the flood water as government is not bothering for making arrangements to divert free flow of rain water, he accused.
Subhash said BRS government is not providing infrastructure to make drainage system effective though it is collecting over Rs 3000 crore as property tax from the citizens in Hyderabad city alone.
The people of Telangana would teach a lesson to BRS government which is in deep sleep leaving people on their fate and BJP would come into power in next elections, Subhash expressed hope.
