CM attends Iftar

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attended the Iftar organised by the State Government at the mini stadium in Vidyadharapuram here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, he wished the fulfillment all their prayers during the auspicious month. He called on  everyone to be well with the blessings of God and pray for the development of the State. The Chief Minister was attired in a traditional outfit and took part in the namaz.

Deputy Chief Minister (Minorities) SK Amzad Basha said that Jagan Mohan Reddy is the only Chief Minister in the country who is working tirelessly for the welfare of minorities. He also said that welfare schemes are being provided to minorities in AP like nowhere else in the country.

Apart from providing reservation to minorities, political empowerment was provided along with full fee reimbursement, he said, adding that Andhra Pradesh is the Atate which has given more funds for the welfare of minorities.

He also said that the Chief Minister has given the Deputy  Chief Minister position for a Muslim in his cabinet along with Deputy Chairperson of Legislative Council and four MLCs.

Ministers Jogi Ramesh, K Venkata Nageswara Rao, MLAs, MLCs, minority leaders and other public representatives were also present.
