Amaravati, Jan 10: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting on prevailing COVID situation and measures to be taken for its containment and instructed the officials to impose night curfew from 11 PM to 5AM.

During the review meeting held at the camp office here on Monday, the Chief Minister directed the officials to take appropriate precautions in changing the prescription for COVID in the wake of new variant Omicron and said to make changes in home isolation kit accordingly besides imposing night curfew.

He instructed the officials to consult health professionals and prepare the prescription and said to review on the availability of required medicines and added to procure and keep
CM-jagan-reviews-COVIDthem ready as per the requirement. He directed the officials to strengthen ‘104’ call center and said to ensure calls are attended immediately. He instructed the officials to prepare one COVID care center at each constituency and take measures to ensure all facilities in them.

The Chief Minister asserted that COVID preventive measures should be implemented effectively and said to ensure people wear mask and social distance is maintained. He instructed the officials to continue imposing fines for not wearing masks in public places and said to ensure people wear mask in buses.

He said COVID protocols should be followed in shops and shopping malls and added to ensure not more than 200 people are gathered in public places and 100 people indoors. He said alternate seat should be left empty to ensure physical distancing in theaters and cine-goers are required to wear masks. The Chief Minister said to ensure physical distance is maintained and masks are worn in Temples and places of Worship and the health department will release detailed guidelines in this regard.
