Congress senior leader and TPCC PAC Convener Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Friday advised the people of Kamareddy to be wary of Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao’s words.
Shabbir Ali, along with AICC Secretary and Zaheerabad constituency Incharge PC Vishnunadh, was addressing a series of meetings in the Bhawanipet village of Palvancha mandal, Kamareddy constituency as part of the ‘Haath Se Haath’ campaign to distribute the six guarantees unveiled by Congress leader Sonia Gandhi at the Vijayabheri Sabha in Tukkuguda last month.
As part of the campaign, they engaged directly with the public, understanding their issues, and assuring resolutions once Congress assumes power. The Congress leaders emphasized the party’s commitment to addressing citizens’ concerns.
“Sonia Gandhi is deeply aware of the struggles faced by our poor. I’m here to detail the six schemes introduced by the Congress party to improve their well-being,” said AICC Secretary Vishnunadh.
Shabbir Ali said that the six guarantees unveiled by Sonia Gandhi would be implemented within 100 days of Congress coming to power in Telangana. He said that the party has implemented all six guarantees it gave to the people of Kamareddy.
Explaining the schemes, Shabbir Ali said that the Mahalakshmi Scheme ensures women a monthly allowance of Rs. 2500, free bus travel, and cooking gas at Rs.500. The Rythu Bharosa Scheme offers Rs. 15,000 per acre annually to both farmers and tenant farmers, with added incentives for paddy crops and benefits for farm labourers. Under the Gruhajyothi initiative, households receive free electricity for up to 200 units. The Indiramma Houses scheme provides Rs.5 lakh for house construction and land allocation, with special provisions for Telangana’s heroes. The Yuva Vikasa Scheme focuses on youth empowerment, covering coaching fees, providing job opportunities, and setting up International Schools in every mandal. Lastly, the Cheyutha Scheme provides monthly pensions to vulnerable groups, financial aid to Dalits and tribals, and includes a health insurance plan.
Shabbir Ali said that the next Congress Government would ensure that the people’s problems are addressed. He also urged the people of Kamareddy to reclaim government lands for their people rather than let them fall into the wrong hands.
