The TDP senior leader and former MLA, Mr Dhulipala Narendra said here on Friday that the day is not too far when the people will throw the YSRCP out of the State.
Talking to media persons at the party headquarters here now people are in doubt whether they are in democratic rule or in dictatorship. Wherever the Chief MInister, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, visits, the locals are facing several hardships and a kind of repression, he said.
Once people used to be scared of dacoits and thieves but now they are so afraid of the Chief Minister’s visit to their area, he commented. The kind of security arrangements being made for Mr Jagan’s visits are unimaginary and even the local shops and other establishments are ordered to shut their doors, while holidays are being declared for the educational institutions, he remarked.
The school buses are being utilised to transport the public to the Chief Minister’s meetings while the local transport is being stalled, he said and pointed out that the APSRTC buses are also being used to shift the people. Thus, how much public money is being misutilised, he asked. At least medical shops should remain open even during emergency times, but when Mr Jagan visits the areas, these shops are also being shut, he maintained. If someone raises any questions on these, false cases are being foisted against such persons, he said.
It is highly ridiculous that the YSRCP leaders are threatening to impose fines on the locals if they fail to attend the Chief Minister’s meetings, he said and pointed out that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy is visiting his home constituency amid tight security. Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, during his tenure as the chief minister, used to visit Kuppam so freely and Mr Jagan’s style of functioning is much worse than Hitler, he observed.
Mr Dhulipala Narendra said that the Backward Classes like Mr Chandrababu Naidu and thus they elected him to power for so many times. He is the leader of the State and can contest to the Assembly from any Assembly segment, the TDP leader said and stated that the question of local and non-local does not arise with regard to Mr Chandrababu.
The former MLA asked Mr Jagan to spell out the names of the BC leaders of his party from Chittoor district and who is representing the district in his Cabinet. Mr Dhulipala Narendra made it clear that the repressive attitude will only boomerang one day and the day is not too far when the people will throw the YSRCP in the Bay of Bengal, he remarked.
