Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh appealed the public to give a chance to BJP to bring comprehensive change in Telangana
Addressing a public meeting at Jammikunta on Monday, Rajnath Singh said that he had addressed several meetings in the past today came here to address a meeting. “After seeing this much of public attending the meeting I am sure that BJP will come to power here. Its fully charged. I know Telangana very well. This is the land with fighting spirit and skills. Maa Bhadrakali and Ramappa temple are here. Rani Rurama and Koumar Bheem are famous across the nation for their valour.”
“In 1984 Lok Sabha elections the BJP won only two seats and one seat is from Telangana by Janga Reddy and the other is from Gujarat. After 27 years, Today Gujarat stands as a model for the development. In Telangana why development confined only at Hyderabad and why not at other places? When it was made possible at other states why not here?” asked Rajnath Singh accusing that huge corruption has been taking in Telangana.
The Union Home Minister said that the BJP under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee has successfully created three states – Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh – without any problem and they are progressing well. He said that Congress has failed to address problems while forming Telangana.
“I want to ask KCR why the development was not there in the state, who ruled for two terms. There are people with hard working nature. Telangana has become private limitedcompany. People made you as Chief Minister but not your family. Everyone is abusing of power and there is a lot of corruption. KCR, Can you tell there was no corruption? The discussions on your corruption has reached to New Delhi. Your son will not survive without power,” commented Rajnath Singh.
He said that ‘State First is the people’s agenda but for KCR its was Family first. This not acceptable for the people of Telangana, he added. Stating that Etala Rajender came out of the party because of this issue, the Union Minister said that so much amount was spent to defeat BJP candidate Eatala in by-elections as if the Chief Minister himself contesting the elections.
“What happened to your promises KCR? What happened to the employment? Examinations are being conducted but paper gets leaked and they will get cancelled. KCR must apologise the people in this regard,” he said and wanted to know for how many dalit families three acres of land was given and for how many families Rs. 10 lakh assistance was given. He also asked whether we can will tell there was no single leader without corruption in the BRS.
“For leaders there should not be any difference between words and deeds. It leads to crisis of credibility. BJP will do what it says. We have promised Ram Mandir and its getting ready will be inaugurated next year. We have said that Jammu and Kashmir will be equal on par with other states and we have accomplished that promise,” said Rajnath Singh.
Referring to the corruption in Dharani and the problems being faced by the public, the Union Minister said that ‘Bhuswamitra Yojana,’ a project to digitisze the land records is being implemented on pilot basis in several states and it will be ready by March.
“Your land records will be clear and you can get loans from the banks directly without any problem,” said Rajnath Singh.
Referring to the housing, the Union Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given for crore houses across the nation and those houses are not given to public by BRS Government. He said that the Centre has passed Naari Shakthi Vandana Act …
