Jagan should clarify whether he is with Raja Reddy family or not, asks BTech Ravi

Amaravathi, Oct 22: This is the right time the Chief Minister, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, should give a clarification whether he stands by the family of his grandfather, the late Mr Raja Reddy or with his wife, Mrs Bharathi, asked Mr Srimareddy Ravinder Reddy, who is popularly known as BTech Ravi, senior leader of the TDP, here on Saturday.

Talking to media persons at the party headquarters here, he said that if Mr Jagan Reddy is not involved in the murder of his paternal uncle, Mr YS Vivekananda Reddy, he should stand by Mr Vivekananda’s daughter, Ms Anitha, and fight for justice, Mr BTech Ravi opined.

Since Ms Sharmila, the sister of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, told the CBI that Mr Vivekananda Reddy wanted to contest from Kadapa Lok Sabha seat and that only someone from his own family should be in the race. Since Ms Sharmila also openly demanded that those involved in the murder of her uncle be punished, why Mr Jagan is keeping silence on this, he asked.

Mr BTech Ravi demanded that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy openly come out with his stand on the murder of his uncle and stand by Ms Anitha to get her justice.

The YSRCP MP, Mr Vijayasai Reddy, be included as the accused number one in the murder as it was Mr Vijayasai who issued conflicting statements on the day when Mr Vivekananda was done to death, Mr Ravi opined. Also, the CBI should investigate the source from where the Rs 50 lakh was raised to pay to those involved in the murder, the TDP leader said.

This apart, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, on the floor of the Assembly itself, indirectly threatened the CBI, he said. It is really ironical that none other than the sister of the Chief Minister approached the court seeking justice in the murder of her father and even requested the court to shift the case from the State since the State Government is defending those involved in the case. Perhaps this is for the first time in the history of the country that the CBI accepted with the views expressed by Ms Anitha and filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court, Mr BTech Ravi maintained.

When the Supreme Court agreed with the CBI and Ms Anitha and accepted the request to shift the case to other State that amounts to pulling up Mr Jagan and his Government, he felt. Thus the Chief Minister has no right to continue in power any longer and resign immediately, Mr Ravi demanded.

The TDP leader also wanted the CBI to investigate the case fast and bring the culprits to book, he observed.
