Slams police for discriminating against TDP leaders
DGP should better join YCP
AMARAVATI: TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Monday condemned the ‘illegal arrest’ of party leader Buddha Venkanna by the AP police in the name of comments made against the ruling YCP Minister.
Nara Lokesh asked why the police didn’t arrest Kodali Nani for making highly abusive remarks against the Opposition Leader of the state. In a statement here, Lokesh said there were no police to implement the law when the Gaddam Gang organised casino in Gudivada. The police didn’t respond to prevent the YCP attack on Chandrababu Naidu residence.
Lokesh deplored that the police officials were showing a lot of discrimination. There was no action when the YCP goons attacked the TDP central office.Nara Lokesh asked how the same police arrived in huge numbers to arrest Buddha Venkanna for asking Kodali Nani stop using abusive language. The people were asking whether the police were there to protect people or the YCP mobs.
Lokesh accused DHP Gautam Sawang of using his IPS cover only to protect the YCP miscreants. The DGP didn’t bother to give appointment to the TDP fact finding committee. The DGP should better joine the YCP so that he could run casino by himself without waiting for shares.
