AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former CM N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday expressed grief over the death of party senior leader and former Minister Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy.
Naidu recalled how Gopala Krishna Reddy started his career as a lawyer and took the plunge into politics at the call of NTR. The late leader had won from the Srikalahasti assembly constituency five times.
In a statement here, the TDP chief expressed shock over the untimely death of the party senior leader. Gopala Krishna Reddy made himself available to the people all the time and he used to respond to the people’s problems immediately.
Naidu conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members. Gopala Krishna Reddy’s death caused an irreparable loss to the party.
TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh, in a separate statement, expressed deep shock over the death of Gopala Krishna Reddy. The departed leader was a good strategist who gave invaluable advice in critical decisions. As Minister, he had rendered memorable service to the people.
