Naidu says YCP shot two birds at one shot: Viveka murder

-YCP blaming me for all its failures, says TDP chief
-Amaravati farmers’ fight courageous and inspirational
-Unlike Paritala case, Viveka murder backfired on YCP

AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday accused the ruling YSRCP leadership of ‘shooting two birds at one shot’ in the YS Viveka murder case at the time of 2019 general election.

Naidu said CM Jagan Mohan Reddy had drawn a ‘beautiful strategy’ to remove a political hurdle as Viveka was insisting on the Kadapa MP ticket for YS Vijayalakshmi or Sharmila. At the same time, the rivals were blamed for the murder so as to benefit from the resultant sympathy factor in the elections.

Addressing the State level meeting of sarpanches here, the TDP chief asked how the ruling YSRCP leaders could blame him 24 hours a day for all the mistakes and misdeeds they were committing in the past three years. Would it be possible for the TDP to eliminate a member of the YS family in their own fort in Pulivendula?

Naidu demanded the ruling party leaders to explain whether their own MP Avinash Reddy got the blood stains cleaned at the murder spot at the orders of the TDP. Avinash Reddy and other YCP leaders tried to propagate it as a natural death due to heart attack. Did they do all this as per the orders of the TDP leadership?

The TDP chief asked whether he was the editor of Sakshi newspaper to write the most fabricated story headlined ‘Narasura Raktha Charitra’. It was in the hospital belonging to Jagan Reddy’s uncle that stitches and bandages were illegally given to the Viveka body. Right from the beginning, the YSRCP leaders were playing one drama after another in order to mislead the people all through.

Chandrababu Naidu said the Paritala Ravindra case was successfully managed as all the accused persons and key witnesses were killed one by one. There was nobody alive now for the investigating officials to prove. But, the Viveka murder was different. Unfortunately for Jagan Reddy and his team, their own game of conspiracy backfired on them leading them to the present catastrophe.

Naidu called it a mean game of ‘murder politics’ that the YSRCP leaders used deliberately to win in the 2019 elections. But there would be no permanent place for such dangerous games in public life. Justice and dharma would win eventually. The YSRCP efforts to blame the TDP for ‘Kodi Kathi’ drama and CBI probe in Viveka murder miserably failed.

The TDP chief termed the victory of the Amaravati farmers in the High Court as ‘historic’ and ‘inspirational’. Likewise, the sarpanches and everybody should fight and create history. It was everyone’s duty to fight for the protection of their rights bestowed by the constitution. The Jagan regime put all sorts of difficulties to Amaravati farmers but they did not get frightened and continued their agitation till the last moment.

Naidu said that even in Polavaram, Jagan Reddy made many false allegations of corruption during the TDP regime but he could not prove even a single paisa corruption in the past three years.
