‘Pichi Jagan’ filed false cases on N Chandrababu Naidu as a part of revenge politics: Nara Lokesh

‘Justice can only be delayed, but it cannot be denied’
‘No safety for N Chandrababu Naidu in Rajahmundry Central Prison’

TDP National General Secretary, Nara Lokesh, visited his father, TDP Chief and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, at Rajahmundry Central Prison today. Accompanied by his mother Nara Bhuvaneswari and wife Nara Brahmani, they discussed the current developments in the state.

After the meeting, Nara Lokesh came down heavily on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for falsely implicating the former CM and imprisoning him for 28 days without any evidence. Lokesh argued that Jagan’s actions were driven by Chandrababu Naidu’s exposure of the YSRC government’s wrongdoings, including issues like Polavaram delay, unemployment, injustice in Krishna water distribution, sand and liquor mafia, among others.

Regarding the Skill Development Project, Lokesh highlighted that the CID initially alleged fraud of Rs 3,000 crore but later reduced it to Rs 371 crore and then to Rs 27 crore. He expressed confidence that the former CM would be exonerated, as there is no evidence of wrongdoing.

Nara Lokesh reminded everyone that Chandrababu Naidu tirelessly and selflessly worked for the people in his 45-year political career, discharging his duties as a Chief Minister for 14 years and another 14 years as an opposition leader. Mentioning that N Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation for Cyberabad in Hyderabad, which has now become a global hub for Information Technology, Nara Lokesh said that 72% of Polavaram project works have been completed under Chandrababu Naidu’s regime.

Nara Lokesh mentioned about the padyatara which took place during TDP’s regime. He praised TDP’s discipline and commitment to neutral, non-violent politics during Jagan’s padayatra in the TDP regime. He addressed financial aspects, including TDP membership contributions and the introduction of a Rs 110 crore accident policy for TDP activists, while questioning the source of YSRCP’s funding through electoral bonds.

Lokesh shared that Chandrababu Naidu directed them to continue their peaceful fight for justice and expressed concerns about the state’s struggles under Jagan’s administration. Referring Jagan as the ‘Pichi CM’ and indicating the alliance with the Janasena party, he expressed that justice can only be delayed, but it cannot be denied, and said justice will prevail in the end.

Furthermore, Nara Lokesh announced the ‘Babu Tho Nenu’ program, which aims to reach every household to explain the injustice done to the former CM. He also urged the people of the state to show their solidarity with N Chandrababu Naidu by lighting candles and mobile flashlights at 7 PM as part of the ‘Kaanthitho Kranthi’ protest.
