Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday evening to inform him about the illegal arrest of TDP Chief and former CM N Chandrababu Naidu.

During the meeting, Nara Lokesh brought Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s actions to Amit Shah’s attention and revealed how the state machinery is being misused in Andhra Pradesh by the YSRCP government. He informed the Union Home Minister that Jagan is causing trouble for his family by filing false cases, one after another.

Amit Shah inquired about the number of cases filed against both N Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh. Nara Lokesh explained the cases filed against them, which are currently at various stages in the trial court, high court, and the Supreme Court.

The Union Home Minister expressed his opinion that it is not appropriate to trouble a 73-year-old leader with numerous cases. He also inquired about Chandrababu Naidu’s health and assured that he is closely monitoring all the developments taking place in Andhra Pradesh.

The meeting was attended by BJP AP President Daggubati Purandeswari and BJP Telangana President G Kishan Reddy along with Nara Lokesh.
