-Qualified youth collecting money at toilets: ex Minister
-Police, revenue staff selling black cinema tickets
AMARAVATI: TDP former Minister K.S. Jawahar on Wednesday strongly criticised Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for ‘destroying’ the dreams of young people by making them do low-paid and menial jobs unsuitable to their qualifications.
Jawahar deplored that the CM had crushed the aspirations of the youth by making them sell mutton and fish and collect money at the public toilets.
Addressing a press conference here, the TDP leader said Jagan Mohan Reddy had a sort of low opinion towards the educated sections. This was why he was making even the well qualified youth to work at his Government’s mutton marts and fish shops.
Jawahar termed it as unpardonable that the MBA and MCA qualified youngsters were being forced to stand in front of toilets to collect Rs 3 to Rs. 4 from users. On the other hand, the teachers were made to wait and control the drinkers at the Government liquor shops. The police and revenue staff were selling black tickets at the cinema halls.
The TDP leader demanded the Chief Minister to clarify when his regime would release a true job calendar and when it would notify DSC for the job aspirants. Jagan Reddy has totally betrayed the staff of Gram Secretariats by not regularising their jobs. There was no hope whether the salaries of volunteers would be raised or not.
Jawahar expressed concern that the CM was humiliating and misusing the educated and employed sections for his massive corruption frauds. All schemes and programmes have turned out to be scams and illegal money making activities for the ruling party leaders.
The TDP leader said it would be no wonder if the IAS officers would be made to sell bananas in the streets like other vendors in future. Even the Government schools were turned into centres of corruption for the ruling party leaders to make easy money. After misusing DGP Sawang, the CM has now given him a job which would not be able to give any jobs under the present regime.
Jawahar asked the Chief Minister to think and realise that it would not be proper to perpetrate an oppressive rule by sitting in his Tadepallli palace and by misusing the police force. The employees and the job aspirants should realise which Government had provided them good opportunities.
