A separate state was not given to come to power in Telangana. She said that Sonia Gandhi gave Telangana as per the aspirations of the people. But the BRS government is acting like a dictatorship. BRS leaders feel that Telangana is their fiefdom,” said Priyanka Gandhi.
There are 30 lakh unemployed people in the state. She expressed concern that millions of unemployed people are struggling for jobs. KCR has said that he will give a job to every household.. Has anyone got a job in your house? She asked those who attended the meeting. In the 2018 elections, they promised that they would give unemployment benefits of Rs.3016 but they failed to deliver. On the other hand, she criticized that examination papers are being leaked and no action has been taken against the paper leak. The government has not established a single university in 9 years and has not filled the vacancies in the universities. She criticized that permission is being given to private universities. She said that it is your responsibility to teach a lesson to this government.
Enrollment in government schools has decreased. She flagged that allocations for education have been reduced in the budget. Priyanka Gandhi declared that every farmer has been burdened with a debt of Rs. 1.5 lakh. Priyanka said that after the formation of Telangana, 8 thousand farmers committed suicide. She said that the loan waiver for farmers has not been done so far. They said they will give unemployment benefits of Rs. 3 thousand.. What happened now? She asked. If Congress comes to power in Telangana, the unemployed will get an unemployment benefit of Rs. 4 thousand. They promised to give interest-free loans up to 10 lakhs.
