Will make efforts to get UNESCO recognition for 1000 Pillar Temple

TRS leader and Rajya Sabha MP MP Joginipally Santhosh Kumar allocated Rs.1 crore for the development of the thousand Pillar Temple, which is considered as the replica of artistic glory of the Kakatiyas.

Santosh came to Warangal to participate in various programmes and offered special prayers to Goddess Bhadrakali and Lord Rudreswara. The TRS MP inspected the thousand-pillared temple. Santosh expressed serious concern on the neglect of the preservation of the magnificent works of art and sculpture in temple by the Central Archeology Department. The TRS leader also upset for the delay in the completion of Kalyana Mandapam ( wedding function hall) since years.

Santosh asserted the need to the conservation of our history and culture. Considering the development of the thousand-pillared temple, which attracts world tourism, is the responsibility of all, the TRS MP said announced Rs one crore funds every year to help the restoration of the historical temple.

As part of Green India Challenge, Santosh along with district public representatives planted saplings in Bhadrakali Ammavari Temple and in Thousand Pillar Temple. After that, the MP fed the cows in the Goshala.

Santosh said that the state government is striving sincerely for the development of the twin cities of Hanmakonda and Warangal after the state capital of Hyderabad.mp He expressed happiness that Warangal city is developing faster than ever before. Santosh said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao developed special affection for Warangal.

State Panchayati Raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinaya Bhaskar, MLCs- Baswaraju Saraiya, Pochampalli Srinivas Reddy, Banda Prakash, MLAs- Aruri Ramesh, Challa Dharma Reddy, Nannapaneni Narender, former MP Sitaram Naik , Chairman of various corporations and corporators of Warangal Municipal Corporation were also present.
