AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday raised the slogans of ‘Quit Jagan’ and ‘Save AP’, slamming the YSRCP rule for destroying the State with its endless blunders.
Naidu said it was the ruling YSRCP goons who set fire to the peaceful, lush green Konaseema region by burning the houses of their own Minister and MLA in Amalapuram. In a very suspicious way, the police saved the family members of the Minister but not his house from the arsonists.
The TDP chief accused the YSRCP leaders of burning their own homes only to start mudslinging against the Telugu Desam for narrow political gains. Jagan Reddy cannot rule the State any more which was why the inefficient Chief Minister was planning for ‘midterm elections’.
Chandrababu Naidu addressed a well attended public meeting at Chilakaluripeta en route to the Mahanadu venue in Ongole. He went on a massive bike rally from Vijayawada to Ongole, giving a clarion call to the TDP activists and admirers to come and make Mahanadu a success by taking whatever transportation they could including on foot.
Naidu accused YSRCP MLC Ananta Babu of abducting, killing and then delivering dead body of Dalit car driver Subrahmanyam in his own car to the victim’s family members. The Government tried to turn it into an accidental death but the TDP agitation had eventually forced the murderous MLC to admit to the killing.
The TDP chief asked what ‘social justice’ Jagan Reddy had done in giving Rajya Sabha nominations that his party was starting a Ministers’ bus yatra now. Out of the nine YCP RS seats, four were given to Reddys and zero to SC, ST and Minorities. Three RS seats were given to Jagan’s co-accused in CBI Rs 42,000 Cr illegal cases. They were Vijay Sai Reddy, Mopidevi Venkata Ramana and Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy.
Decrying the CM’s ‘betrayals’, Naidu said Jagan Reddy gave one RS seat to his lawyer to save him from CBI cases. Another RS seat was given to Parimal Nathwani to lobby for Jagan’s multi-crore cases in Delhi. Jagan Reddy had done social injustice by removing 28 programmes for weaker sections. Even Anna Canteens were gone. The CM had enriched the rich people and punched in the stomachs of the poorer sections.
Chandrababu Naidu said the police were not able to control the crowds coming to his ‘Badude Badudu’ tours in the districts. The same police were begging the people to stay back and not leave the venues of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s meetings. The CM and his Ministers would not be able to stop Mahanadu.
Naidu asserted that Jagan Reddy was daydreaming to terrorise the cadres of the TDP that was founded by NTR. The TDP activists would bounce back like ‘Kondaveeti Simhams’ and they would cut the tail of this Chief Minister.
