TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh Interacts With Representatives of Kapu Community, RPM Doctors, People of Kotananduru Village & Students On His 219th Day Of Yuvagalam Padayatra In Tuni Constituency

On the 219th day of his Yuvagalam padayatra, TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh conducted a face-to-face interaction with representatives of the Kapu community near Saivedika in S Annavaram.
Expressing their hardships to the young leader, the Kapu community representatives conveyed that CM Jagan Reddy had cancelled the 5 percent reservation provided by the TDP for Kapu community and weakened the Kapu Corporation. They disclosed that Jagan Reddy deceived them by promising Rs 2,000 crores annually for Kapu welfare but failed even to arrange chairs or tables in the corporation office.
Responding to their pleas, Nara Lokesh acknowledged that the Kapu community has always been at the forefront of social service. Highlighting how the TDP had supported them economically and politically, the TDP National General Secretary emphasized that TDP Chief & Former CM N Chandrababu Naidu had fulfilled every promise made to the Kapu community.
Apart from allocating Rs 3,000 crores for Kapu welfare, Nara Lokesh mentioned that the former CM provided financial assistance ranging from Rs.10 lakh to Rs.20 lakh to Kapu students through the foreign education scheme. He also stated that the TDP had granted financial assistance of Rs.18,000 to students preparing for competitive exams, emphasizing that the TDP had allocated 5 percent reservation for Kapu people without causing any trouble to BCs.
Furthermore, Nara Lokesh criticized Jagan Reddy for dismantling the Kapu Corporation. He revealed that the TDP had constructed buildings and marriage halls for Kapu community members, while criticizing Jagan Reddy for scrapping the foreign education scheme and financial aid for exam preparation. Assuring prompt action once the TDP-Janasena alliance comes to power, Nara Lokesh stated that he would initiate an inquiry into land grabs, sand irregularities, and corruption in Tuni. He further pledged to enhance the political representation of the Kapu community once back in power.
Interaction With RMP Doctors:
Alongside representatives of the Kapu community, Nara Lokesh also met with representatives of RMP (Registered Medical Practitioner) doctors who mentioned that in 2017, the TDP government issued Government Order No. 465 recognizing RMP doctors as community paramedics. However, they noted that this recognition has not been implemented since the YSRC government took power in the state.
In response to their concerns, Nara Lokesh stated that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government has weakened the medical and health sector. He assured that, once the TDP government is back in power, a special medical board will be established and steps will be taken to officially recognize RMPs as community medics, and the matter of hiring community health providers in the medical and health department will be considered.
Interaction With The People of Kotananduru:
In his interaction with the people of Kotananduru, Nara Lokesh mentioned that during Jagan Mohan Reddy’s destructive regime, the irrigation sector was severely crippled. Noting that the YSRC government is struggling even to maintain the gates of existing projects, he revealed that the mismanagement under the Jagan government led to the destruction of the Annamayya project, and gates of Pulichintala and Gundlakamma were also washed away.
Nara Lokesh promised that once the TDP comes to power, the Thandava Reservoir will be repaired, and the water storage capacity will be increased. Additionally, he mentioned considering the possibility of diverting Eleru canal water to the Thandava pond reservoir for enhanced water management.
Interaction With Students:
Taking into account the number of students, Nara Lokesh mentioned that the TDP government will explore the possibility of establishing a junior college in Kotananduru mandal. Hundreds of students warmly welcomed the young leader upon his arrival at Government Degree College in Tuni, Nara Lokesh interacted with the students, inquiring about the challenges they face. He assured them that under the TDP-Janasena government, there would be no need for them to migrate to neighbouring states for jobs. He said that steps will be taken to create job opportunities locally by establishing industries in their region.
‘TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh Promises To Reopen Anna Canteens On Achieving This Historic Milestone’
TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh, who launched his Yuvagalam Padayatra on January 27th in Kuppam, has achieved a remarkable milestone by completing a 3000-kilometre walk, engaging with the people and understanding the challenges they face under CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s regime.
Overcoming obstacles set by the YSRCP government, Nara Lokesh, along with an army of people, marked the completion of the 3000 KM Yuvagalam Padayatra. To commemorate this occasion, the young leader unveiled a plaque in Tetagunta Panchayat, Tuni Constituency, pledging to reopen the Anna Canteens closed by the YSRCP government, addressing the hunger of the impoverished.
As Nara Lokesh achieved this historic milestone in Andhra Pradesh politics, his wife Nara Brahmani, son Devansh, along with family members Nandamuri Mokshagna and Sribharat Mathukumilli, joined him in the padayatra and walked with him. Tetagunta witnessed a festive atmosphere, becoming densely populated, with major TDP leaders and people expressing solidarity with Nara Lokesh. Thousands of TDP activists and sympathisers from both Godavari districts participated in the padayatra.
So far, the Yuvagalam Padayatra has traversed 10 joint districts, 92 assembly constituencies, 217 mandals/municipalities, and 1915 villages. Over the course of this extensive padayatra, Nara Lokesh engaged in 70 public meetings, 145 face-to-face interactions, 12 special programs, and 8 racchabanda programs to understand the people’s issues. He received 1063 written petitions and directly interacted with millions of people who shared their concerns. Approximately 1.2 crore people have connected with Nara Lokesh in various ways since the commencement of the Yuvagalam Padayatra.
