-TDP dares Jagan to dissolve Government
-Criticises YCP for obstructing Lokesh zoom meet
AMARAVATI: TDP state president K. Atchannaidu on Thursday challenged CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to go for midterm election if he was so sure of winning 175 out of 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
Atchannaidu dared the Chief Minister to dissolve the Government and seek fresh mandate instead of making diversionary and misleading statements.
Addressing a press conference here, the TDP leader slammed the YSRCP leaders for obstructing the zoom conference of Nara Lokesh with students who failed in the 10th class exams. What could Kodali Nani do in such a meeting when he did not even pass 10th class?
Atchannaidu said the ruling YCP leaders had played a dangerous game with over 2 lakh students who failed in the exams. Over 10 students have taken their lives unable to accept their fate. When Nara Lokesh tried to do justice for the students and parents, the YCP leaders tried to disrupt their zoom meeting.
The TDP leader asserted that CM Jagan Reddy was behaving strangely and illogically ever since the TDP Mahanadu held in Ongole became a roaring success. Jagan and his MLAs boasted of ruling the State for the next 30 years but now they were scared of even facing the public. Jagan Reddy has made irrational statements at his party workshop.
Atchannaidu said that the ruling YSRCP had hijacked the municipal, mandal and panchayat elections by misusing the police and the official machinery. The Assembly elections would not be that easy to manipulate and hijack. The YCP leaders were not able to say what they had done for the people in the past three years.
The TDP leader said that over 2,500 farmers have committed suicides due to deepening debts. By destroying agriculture, the Jagan regime has tightened the noose round the necks of farmers. Payments were not being given to farmers in paddy procurement. Crop holiday was announced with total lack of concern for farmers’ plight.
Atchannaidu asserted that Polavaram was completed over 75 per cent during the TDP rule. But, the greedy YSRCP leaders have crushed the State’s lifeline irrigation project. The TDP rule has completed irrigation projects up to 80 percent. The Jagan rule has not completed even 2 percent.
