Jagan caused maximum damage to AP, says Chandrababu

Amaravathi, Feb 23: Of the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh some were inefficient while some were corrupt but Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy caused maximum damage to the State, observed the former chief minister and TDP national president, Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu, here on Thursday.

Welcoming the former minister and senior leader, Mr Kanna Lakshminarayana, into the TDP, Mr Chandrababu Naidu said that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has a cruel mentality. ”Addressing the district collectors at ‘Praja Vedika’, the Chief Minister told them to immediately dismantle the structure. This is his mentality. Praja Vedika is not my personal property and Mr Jagan has least respect for public property,” he stated.

Till now, whoever ruled the State, they tried their best to develop the State and also to get some popularity. But all the sectors literally collapsed after Mr Jagan became the Chief Minister, he remarked.

Welcoming Mr Kanna Lakshminarayana into the party, Mr Chandrababu said that he is a leader who is close to the heart of the people and always abides by the norms. Observing that he differed with Mr Kanna Lakshminarayana several times only politically, Mr Chandrababu said that he never had any personal differences with Mr Kanna.

Stating that all the people in the State have become poor except Mr Jagan, who minted money like anything, Mr Chandrababu said that if he does not know administration he should quit the post and go home. ”Did I ever create any problem to Mr Jagan during his pada yatra and if I wanted he would not have moved out of his house,” Mr Chandrababu maintained.

The TDP office at Gannavaram was completely damaged, the party leaders were attacked and in turn cases were booked against the TDP leaders, he pointed out. ”I never thought that one can be tortured in such a way in a police station,” Mr Chandrababu remarked.

Stating that a film can be made on the story behind the killing of Mr YS Vivekananda Reddy, the TDP supremo said that the main debate nowadays is ‘who killed Babai (uncle).’

”The State issues do not belong either to me alone or to Mr Kanna Lakshminarayana. Everyone should fight against such problems,” he stated.

Calling upon the leaders to take Mr Kanna Lakshminarayana as an inspiration, Mr Chandrababu felt that the State is fast turning into another Bihar. He also made an appeal to the police system not to repose faith in Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy. ”Tomorrow you will suffer and this man will simply ignore your services,” Mr Chandrababu said.

Mr Kanna Lakshminarayana said that he joined the TDP keeping in view the future of the State. Admitting that since beginning he had worked against Mr Chandrababu Naidu, he said that he now feels an immediate need to bring down Mr Jagan. ”This is the reason as to why I joined hands with Mr Chandrababu Naidu,” he said.

Pushing the State into deep debts, Mr Kanna asked Mr Jagan where these funds have gone. The person who initially said that Amaravathi is the capital of the State changed tack and began the slogan of three capitals, he said.

He wants to loot Visakhapatnam since it is a developed city, Mr Kanna felt. He made it clear that he left the BJP which has a great leader like Mr Narendra Modi, only for the sake of Amaravathi and the progress of the State.
