-This is the model Telangana wants to show to the country
-Golden Telangana is to make the child Birla and the son-in-law Ambani Is it necessary for the government to take 30 percent commissions?
-We will fill 2 lakh jobs within a year of coming to power TPCC president Revanth Reddy at Nalgonda unemployment protest rally
During an unemployment protest rally in Nalgonda, TPCC President Revanth Reddy criticized the KCR government, questioning whether its vision for Telangana was to benefit the families of Birla, Ambani, and Tata while leaving the state’s youth in despair. “KCR… Is it golden Telangana to make child Birla, son-in-law Ambani, son Tata, and you become Charles Sobharaj?” Reddy asked.
He accused the government of being unable to conduct exams fairly, citing instances where question papers were leaked and sold for large sums of money. Reddy argued that this was putting the lives of thousands of children at risk and creating a dark future for the state’s youth.
“Today question papers are available in the bazaar. Class 10 question papers are available on WhatsApp. 25 students committed suicide while correcting inter-examination papers. TSPSC question papers are available at bus stands and Xerox centers. KCR and his family
sold the question papers for hundreds of crores, putting the lives of lakhs of children in darkness. In Telangana, the state government is in a position of not being able to conduct exams. There is no similar situation in the Union States. Is this the Telangana model that KCR wants to show the country?” Reddy asked.
Reddy also highlighted the district’s history of standing up against oppression, citing leaders like Ravi Narayana Reddy, Mallu Swarajyam, Palvai, Arutla Kamaladevi, and Chakilam Srinivasa Rao. He pointed out that Bandinaka Bandi Katti was a child of this district who questioned the evil deeds of the Nizam government, while Srikanth Chari was the first immortal of the Malidasa movement and a child of Nalgonda.
Reddy questioned whether it was true that even after December 9, Jana Reddy went to KCR’s house and held discussions for 7-8 hours, saying that KCR still couldn’t deliver on his promises. He suggested that the Jana Action Committee (JAC) was born as a result of those discussions. Reddy also commented that when Doragaru came, they hoisted the flags, and when the state was being formed, they risked their lives. “I want to remind the people here that JAC means Jana Action Committee,” Reddy concluded.
KCR claimed that during the movement, posts were as insignificant as the sandal of the left foot. However, Asannasi criticized KCR, stating that he should have contested the elections again in the place where he had resigned, accusing him of engaging in selections and collections. Revanth Reddy mentioned Konda Laxman Bapuji, who had resigned from the post of minister during the Telangana movement of 1969, and also highlighted the leadership of Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy, who made similar sacrifices in the Mali Dasha movement.
Revanth pointed out that Jaipal Reddy played a crucial role in the formation of Telangana. He reminded the audience that Undavalli Arun Kumar wrote in his book about the strategic importance of Jaipal Reddy in achieving the Telangana statehood. Moreover, Jaipal Reddy had his education in this district, and he also won as an MP from here and served as a Union Minister. Other prominent leaders like Jana Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, and Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy also held ministerial positions in the government.
Looking at the kind of leaders we have in Nalgonda, it makes me wonder: is this the kind of leadership we deserve? One of our district’s ministers was caught pouring soda into medicine. Is this what we want representing us? Is this the respect we want for our district?
It seems like people in Nalgonda have to live like slaves, with no real voice or representation. Even respected leaders like Jana Reddy have been defeated. And what does our CM KCR say about all of this? He congratulates the person who poured soda into medicine and won. Is this supposed to be an honor for Nalgonda district?
And let’s not forget about the sell-out brokers representing us. The Nakirekal and Miryalaguda MLAs are nothing but puppets, while the Kodada and Hujur Nagar MLAs are just like socks. They’re all just like grains of sand, easily replaced and forgotten.
But it’s not just about these corrupt politicians. It’s also about the land, the sand, the mines, and the wine. All of these Land, Sand, and Mine thieves are taking advantage of our district, exploiting our resources for their own gain.
So let’s think about what we really want for Nalgonda district. Do we want leaders who will work for us, or just for themselves? It’s time for us to take action and demand the kind of leadership we deserve.
During the Dalit Bandhu scheme, it has been alleged that BRS MLAs are taking bribes. However, they have denied these accusations. Just yesterday, CM KCR claimed to have a list of those who have taken bribes. Revanth Reddy pointed out that these MLAs are taking a 30 percent commission. In contrast, the people of Karnataka are prepared to vote out the BJP government that takes a 40 percent commission. The question then arises: do we really need a government that takes a 30 percent commission?
During the formation of Telangana, 1200 children sacrificed their lives. In such a Telangana, should the poor only rely on lip service? These were the questions raised by Revanth Reddy to the government. He questioned why the children of the poor have to resort to caste professions while KCR’s family rules the state/kingdom. He also asked if the unemployed have to live like laborers. Revanth commented that this is not what Telangana was meant for.
Revanth criticized the CM, who should be responsible for conducting exams in Telangana, for roaming around the states in the name of party expansion. He further commented that the spiritual gatherings of BRS have turned into permit rooms in Janata Bar. While the farmers are crying because of the loss of crops, BRS leaders are drinking and wasting their time in spiritual gatherings. Revanth strongly opposed the government’s behavior and said that this kind of government should be buried in a pit of 100 meters.
Revanth Reddy stated that Congress needs to win all 12 seats in Nalgonda in order to come to power in Telangana. He urged everyone to “win 12 for 12” and stated that if they can accomplish this, they will take responsibility for getting 90 out of 100 seats in the state. He also mentioned that Priyanka Gandhi, granddaughter of Indira Gandhi and son of Soniamma, will stand by the unemployed in Telangana and is expected to visit the state in the first week of May. Thousands are expected to attend the Sarur Nagar Sabha to support her. Revanth promised to create 2 lakh jobs once the Congress government comes to power in Telangana in the new year.
TPCC President Revanth Reddy paid tribute to the portraits of the martyrs at Mahatma Gandhi University before the unemployment protest rally began, as a mark of respect. During the occasion, students of the university submitted a petition to Revanth Reddy, highlighting their problems and seeking his support.
