Dismissing rumours and debunking fake news, the Arogyasree Trust today has assured that services will continue at private hospitals uninterrupted. The Trust has reiterated that the Andhra Pradesh government is paying special attention to the Arogyasree scheme as part of its Navratnalu programme. The state government has already released a total of ₹774 crore for the scheme, including ₹201 crore on April 30, ₹205 crore on May 15, and ₹368 crore on May 18 (today)
The Trust has assured that the remaining arrears and other issues will be resolved expeditiously by the Andhra Pradesh government. The ASHA Association has also assured that Arogyasree services will continue without any interruption.
The Trust has appealed to the public not to believe rumours that Arogyasree services are being stopped. Arogyasree services will continue as usual without any inconvenience.
