Animal blood bank in Telangana

We All for Animal Foundation and Animal blood line NGO come up with an innovative initiative project to support animals during medical emergencies with blood transfusions and to establish first of its kind state of art Animal blood bank in Telangana.

We met B . Vinod kumar Vice Chairman of Telangana state planing Board for establishing Animal blood bank in state as hundreds of animal loose life due to lack of blood required by them to survive fatalities.

For which he expressed a tremendous interest and support for animals like cattel, buffalo, agriculture animals and domestic animals and called for establishing a facility and research center at Prestigious P.V. Narsimha Rao Veterinary University & . Immediate directions were given to the vice Chancellor Rajender Nagar university to kick start the project as a research centre & Establish a Animal Blood Bank .Adhar Sinha Special Chief Secretary Animal Husbandry was also informed to set this project on fast track.

All for Animal Foundation and Animal blood line NGO have been working on this project from past 4 yrs to support animals in medical emergencies through blood transfusion and have been doing research to define blood groups for each of animal species sad above.
Most Pet Parents are unaware of animal blood group and the requirement for needing blood in health emergencies of animals .

In India there are no manufacturers of blood grouping animal kits this has lead us to reach out to university to set up and support a Research institute long side the blood bank for developing animal blood grouping kits.As animals also requires blood transfusion to save their life’s. Both these NGO s will be giving technical support for medical equipment , training programs for veterinary doctor through their association in UK and USA vetinary doctor s and simultaneously both the NGOs will work with prosthetics for both large and small animals hence saving large animals form early death due to lack of mobility.
The University Rajender Nagar will give an opportunity to educate students in Veterinary Programs in conducting blood transfusions hence spreading knowledge and giving support to animals in society .

The University Vice Chancellor Ravinder Reddy is happy to collaborate with All for Animal Foundation and Animal blood line and establish this facility at the newly constructed veterinary clinical complex at the collage of Veterinary sciences Rajender nagar he stated that it would be ideal to establish blood bank in veterinary clinical complex so that veterinary students will have an opportunity to learn about blood transfusion techniques which is instrumental in saving life’s of animals .

He felt it was much awaited facility by animal pet parents and animal lover all across the state and was very enthusiastic to start project immediately.B. Vinod kumar Honourable vice chairman has offered his unconditional support to Animals Blood Bank and Research Centre.
