Amaravathi, Oct 11: The TDP politburo member, Mr Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, on Tuesday said that the people no longer believe the YSRCP MP, Mr Vijayasai Reddy, even if he claims that he is not involved in the land scam in Visakhapatnam. The Chief Minister, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Mr Vijayasai Reddy, ransacked the State even when they were not in power, and now people will not trust them even if they claim that they are innocent, Mr Bonda Uma said while talking to media persons at the party headquarters here. Though the TDP brought the facts before the people with evidence, Mr Vijayasai Reddy shamelessly claiming that he has no knowledge about the land scam.
Mr Bonda Umamaheswara Rao is of the strong opinion that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen on declaring Visakhapatnam as the capital only for the benefit of Mr Vijayasai Reddy. Both Mr Jagan and Mr Vijayasai are looting Visakhapatnam and to divert the public attention from this, the YSRCP Government has taken the slogan of three capitals, the TDP leader stated.
Mr Vijayasai Reddy, who grabbed the lands in Visakhapatnam had transferred the lands in the name of his daughter and his son-in-law, Mr Bonda Uma said adding that he is now narrating some cooked-up stories. Mr Vijayasai Reddy can not become innocent if he threatens some media persons or by throwing mud on the media, the TDP politburo member maintained. How the Arabindo Pharma got several lands in just three-and-half years, Mr Umamaheswara Rao asked and said that very expensive lands worth over Rs 2,500 cr were grabbed by Vijayasai Reddy in the name of regularisation.
Is he not aware who is Mr Gopinath Reddy and who are the directors in his company, Mr Uma asked and said that Mr Vijayasai Reddy was eased out of Amaravati just because he grabbed these lands. The corrupt practices and the land grabbings of the YSRCP Government and Mr Vijayasai Reddy are now in the public platform and thus the ruling party leaders are now resorting to various kinds of appeasements and even issuing threats to those who are questioning them.
Mr Uma feels that the three capitals issue comes under this category and the people of North Andhra are also being instigated against the Amaravathi farmers only due to this reason. Can any leader from the ruling party demand CBI inquiry into the land grabbings of Mr Vijayasai Reddy, he asked. If the Ministers, Mr Dharmana Prasada Rao, Mr Botsa Satyanarayana and Mr Seediri Appalaraju, feel that they are really honest, they should ask for a probe into Vijayasai land grabbings in North Andhra, the TDP politburo member said and demanded Mr Jagan Reddy to immediately stop raising regional feelings among the people of the State.
Why the leaders who claimed insider trading in Amaravati , are now keeping silence now, Mr Bonda Umamaheswara Rao asked and said that they can no longer take the people for a ride. Mr Jagan and Vijayasai, who were in jail when they were not in power can resort to do anything now, Mr Bonda Uma added.
