TPCC President Revanth Reddy commented that Congress Tsunami has come in Telangana. In this Tsunami even shovels will be washed away, no need to think about the situation of grass straws. The state president of the party, Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that the victory of the Congress in the Telangana assembly elections is certain. Leaders and party workers called to start the celebrations. He spoke to the media in Kamareddy on Thursday.
Revanth Reddy expressed happiness over the exit polls. Revanth Reddy stated that the hard work of Congress workers is reflected in the exit polls. It is clear that the people of Telangana have cast a conscious vote. Telangana of feudals (Dorala Telangana) will end and the Telangana of people (Prajala Telangana) will come. He said that BRS party will not win more than 25 seats. He expressed confidence that Congress will form the government on December 9.
Revanth Reddy said that KCR will be defeated in Kamareddy. He said that it is clear that there is awareness among the people. He slammed KCR as he believed that his power is eternal. Whenever KCR faces defeat, he changes his constituency.
Srikantachari breathed his last in the Telangana movement on December 3. Revanth stated that the election results will be announced on the same day. Srikantachari’s sacrifice has a link with the election results, he said. Revanth said that Srikantachari took the Telangana movement to another level by sacrificing his life and that they are paying huge tributes to Srikantachari.
Telangana election polling is over today. A high percentage of exit polls have attributed the majority to the Congress. Revanth responded to KTR’s comments who said that exit polls are rubbish. Revanth asked “If they are true, will KTR apologize?” He commented that BRS leaders are showing goat-like(disguised) elegance. Revanth Reddy said that none of the exit polls in the country say that the Congress will not get power. KCR’s family has treated people worse than animals. That is why people taught them a befitting lesson.
He said that only KTR spoke on the exit polls and KCR did not come out. Revanth Reddy called Congress party workers to celebrate in each and every village from 7 o’clock today. Victory and defeat are natural in public domain. The winner is not a king and the loser is not a slave. Revanth said that in order to provide democratic governance, the opposition and the ruling party should play a responsible role. He said that KCR had led the legislative assembly in a way that who won was a king and who lost was a slave.
KCR acted in a way one loses faith in democracy. He said that KCR’s family should correct their mistakes atleast now. He said that Congress leaders are not going to act autocratically like KCR. Revanth Reddy said that they will not be rulers but servants. As soon as the Congress party comes to power, it will restore the democratic values. He said that measures will be taken to bring about transparent governance so that along with societies, members of the opposition in the legislative assembly will be able to speak on the decisions of the administration on important issues.
“I am giving my word to the people of Telangana. All communities will have freedom in this society. He said that the Congress party will give opportunity to all communities and castes. He said that media friends will also get freedom from this evening. He said that there will be an opportunity to reflect people’s opinions and problems. He said that media friends should also modify their approach.
He said that the Congress party will not dominate anyone anywhere. He said that the Congress party is not coming to power to restrict or trouble anyone. The people of Telangana have been given an opportunity to serve them for five years. He said that Professor Kodandaram will be entrusted with key responsibilities in the Congress government.
Revanth Reddy said that “I am appealing to the Congress cadre and leaders. This is the time to act with care.The objectives before us are the swearing-in of the Congress government, legalising the six guarantees, democratic governance. The party will decide which post I should hold and which post I should resign from.”
It is KCR’s habit to do such things during elections
TPCC President Revanth Reddy accused KCR of plotting to gain political advantage by using the Telangana sentiment whenever the elections come. Revanth responded to the tension occurred at Nagarjunasagar. He said that it is very clear with what expectations they are doing all this. He criticized that KCR has a habit of doing such things during elections. People need not worry. Sagar Dam will remain there and the water will not go anywhere. Such problems will be solved amicably. Such conspiracies do not work on elections. He questioned whether the disputes between the states can’t be resolved when the countries themselves are solving the water problems.
He said that the people of Telangana are intelligent and can understand the problem. Revanth Reddy criticized that they (BRS leaders) tried to inflame the sentiment on the eve of polling. He said that the permanent solution to all this is the formation of a government acceptable to the people. He promised to solve the problems with other states amicably in the coming Congress government. He said that the Congress will deal with timeliness and coordination in the matter of waters sharing and transfer of assets. Revanth Reddy made it clear that it is the responsibility of the Congress to find a proper solution to the disputes amicably.
Revanth Reddy who exercised his right to vote in Kodangal
In Kodangal constituency, TPCC president Revanth Reddy exercised his right to vote along with his family. Revanth Reddy voted in ZPHS Boys south wing polling booth (Booth no.237) in Kodangal.
