-People will turn one chance into last chance
-3,250 false cases filed against TDP leaders
VISAKHAPATNAM: TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Thursday asserted that the people of Andhra Pradesh would turn ‘one chance’ into ‘last chance’ for the ruling YSRCP by rejecting it completely in the next elections.
Lokesh said CM Jagan Mohan Reddy had destroyed all systems and institutions besides carrying out political vendetta against the TDP leaders. All sections of people were unhappy and totally disappointed with the misrule of the YSRCP.
Nara Lokesh visited Narsipatnam in the Visakhapatnam district and called on the family members of former TDP Minister Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the YSRCP became a ‘trademark’ for all round destruction. Over 3,250 false cases were filed against the TDP leaders in the past three years. The YSR regime killed 164 TDP activists and his son Jagan Reddy rule murdered 33 TDP leaders so far.
Lokesh asked how Nirbhaya and SC, ST atrocities cases could be filed against a senior most leader like Ayyanna Patrudu. Jagan Reddy would not have started drinking milk when Ayyanna became a Minister. It was cowardly on the part of the Government to treat even senior opposition leaders like ‘terrorists’ and ‘smugglers’.
Expressing strong reservations, Lokesh accused the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government of implementing the oppressive Raja Reddy constitution. The new DGP was selected by disregarding over 13 officers senior to him. The TDP would closely watch whether he would implement the Ambedkar constitution or not in the State. His predecessor acted wrongly and eventually became a victim of the Raja Reddy constitution.
Nara Lokesh deplored that there was no police when the YCP goondas attacked the TDP central office, Chandrababu Naidu’s residence and the houses of the TDP leaders. But, they were very quick to file false cases and make illegal arrests of the opposition leaders. There were no police when the ‘Geddem Gang’ held a Goa-like casino in Gudivada in Krishna district.
Lokesh demanded to know why police kept silent despite the attack by a ruling YSRCP MP on the Krishnalanka police station recently. MLC Ashok Babu was arrested just because the dharna of the employees and teachers became a success in Vijayawada. Pattabhi Ram’s house was attacked after he exposed the ganja gangs and mafia activities of the ruling party.
The TDP MLC slammed the Jagan regime for victimising Kodela Sivaprasada Rao and Dr Sudhakar till their death. False cases were filed against Atchannaidu, Ashok Gajapathi Raju, JC Prabhakar Reddy, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Dhulipalla Narendra and scores of others.
