TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh demanded that the YSRCP government should order CBI investigation into the murder of driver Subrahmanyam.
Talking to reporters here on Monday, he asked police as to why they did not arrest YSRCP MLC Anantha Udaya Bhaskar even after 72 hours of registering a case against him.
Lokesh revealed that the MLC met Kakinada city MLA Dwarampudi Chandrashekhar Reddy and AP government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy to escape from the case. He also demanded that the state government should announce ex-gratia of Rs 1 crore to kin of deceased. He flayed Home Minister T. Vanitha for not consoling family members of Subrahmanyam.
