AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday expressed shock and grief over the death of Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy.
Naidu described as painful the untimely death of Goutham Reddy whose bright career was
cut short suddenly. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members.In a statement here, the TDP chief said Goutham Reddy earned a special recognition for himself as a well-educated, soft spoken and dignified Minister in the Cabinet.
TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh, in a separate statement, condoled the death of Goutham Reddy. He said that the Minister was known for his humility and good manners.
Lokesh termed it as unfortunate that Goutham Reddy, who gave priority to physical fitness, lost his life to cardiac arrest. It was painful that a decent politician in his fifties met with an untimely end.
