People’s victory, says Botsa

Amaravati, Nov 17: Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana asserted that the welfare schemes implemented by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy paved the way for a thumping victory in civic polls.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, the Minister said that the series of wins clearly show the committed support of people towards the YSRCP government and scored 98 out of 100 for good governance. He said that the Opposition TDP leaders have put high hopes that there would be a negative impact by making false allegations against the government, but it turned adverse as people didn’t trust them.
Further, the Minister stated that Chandrababu Naidu always accuses EVM tampering after his defeat, similarly, he started alleging about fake votes being aware of his defeat. The results clearly depicted that people believed in the YSRCP government and welcomed the welfare initiatives as they helped in improving their living standards. He thanked people for this triumphant win and assured to do better in the coming years.
Responding to media queries, Minister Botsa commented that there is no valid comparison between the freedom movement and Amaravati agitation and stated that the High Court remark over the issue may not be acceptable. He said that the government has the right to make decisions for the all round development of the State.
