TDP slams Pinnelli comments on Lokesh

-Unlike Lokesh, Jagan had dark legacy: ex MLA
-Naidu stood for progress, YSR for murder politics

AMARAVATI: TDP former MLA Yerapatineni Srinivasa Rao on Friday asserted that the Jagan Reddy Government triggered murder politics while the previous Chandrababu regime focused on welfare and development.

Srinivasa Rao said that Nara Lokesh had a glorious legacy from NTR and Chandrababu Naidu who turned Rayalaseema into ‘Rathanala Seema’ (place of jewels). Whereas, Jagan Reddy descended from Raja Reddy and YSR who turned Rayalaseema into a hotbed of faction killings.

Addressing a press conference here, the TDP leader challenged YCP MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy to climb the footsteps of Tirumala hills with the same ease as that of Chandrababu Naidu. It was Jagan Mohan Reddy who was fostering murder politics. Srinivasa Rao pointed out how the ruling party leaders stated at the time of Thota Chandraiah murder that there were ten more persons who should be killed. Only as part of this premeditated plan, Kancherla Jallaiah was eliminated. However, the TDP would not be afraid of the threats and murder politics of the ruing YSRCP MLAs.

The TDP leader strongly objected to Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy ‘twisting’ the statement of Lokesh that he had got the pride of Rayalaseema. The grandfather of Lokesh had a bright history while that of Jagan’s grandfather was very dark and blood-stained. Nobody would be able to shake the foundations of the TDP.

Srinivasa Rao said that the TDP was a party that would feed the poor people while the YSRCP had a bad history of snatching away food from the mouths of poor families. What was the problem of the ruling party leaders when the TDP was giving food to the poor people? The TDP activists would fight like warriors against the boundless corruption of the Jagan regime.

The TDP leader warned that the YSRCP would not be able to stay in power forever. On the other hand, the Jagan regime had cancelled all pro-people programmes. They promised to give Rs. 1 lakh to Muslim brides under Dulhan. After coming to power, it was totally ignored. Such was the betrayal of the Chief Minister.

Srinivasa Rao pointed out that the Congress party did not even get opposition status in 1994. As it did faction politics, the people gave just 26 out of the total 294 seats. At that time, these YCP leaders were in the main Congress party from which it descended.
