– TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh reacted to the police torture of Ramanjaneyu, the husband of Konuppalapadu village sarpanch of Anantapur district.
– Some policemen were criticized for taking off their khaki dress and wearing YCP dress.
– It is alleged that the TDP workers are being tortured and the heads of the TDP workers are being tortured.
DGP should respond
“YCP (YSRCP) leaders threatened TDP Sarpanch’s husband Ramanjaneyulu to resign as an animator in Konuppalapadu of Yadiki mandal of Anantapuram district. As they did not agree to that, cases were filed against six other villagers including Ramanjaneyu. Tadipatri DSP himself stepped into the field and applied the third degree against Nagarjuna, Simhadri and four others belonging to the Boya community. Fingers were broken and tortured until blood flowed. I strongly condemn the police attack on the villagers. Requesting the DGP to take action against some policemen who are acting as YCP leaders.” – Nara Lokesh
